The vision statement describes how the area will grow and develop through the implementation of this Neighbourhood Plan.
This example Neighbourhood Plan proposes the following vision for 'example parish'.

'Example parish' will maintain its strong community spirit and excellent range of facilities, services, employment opportunities which are highly valued by the community.
'Example parish' will experience growth over the next 20 years, but this growth will be carefully planned and coordinated, supported by investment in local facilities, services and infrastructure to meet the needs of a growing population.
'Example parish' will maintain its distinct identity – including both its high quality natural and built environment. Visual and physical separation from other nearby villages will be retained.
Access to the countryside along the many public rights of way will be preserved and wherever possible enhanced ensuring that the close connection to the natural environment is maintained.
