Fresh new look for neighbourhood-planning.co.uk

Over the past few weeks I have re-built this website, to give it a fresh new look.

I have created this new site to give me greater control over how the site looks and functions, and to give a better experience for users (including getting rid of the adverts).

Moving away from using an 'off-the-shelf' package to something I have developed from scratch also allows me to better integrate apps and tools, such as my Planfinder. I am currently working on some other apps, but these are top secret for now...

I have migrated all my existing content to this new site e.g. blog posts and other page content. The web address [www.neighbourhood-planning.co.uk] remains the same. However, I have cleaned up urls for individual blog posts and pages, meaning many links I have previously posted on Twitter and showing in search engine results are now broken - but the content remains available on the site

I have decided to stop using the name 'All Things Neighbourhood Planning'. I now have a clearer vision for the direction of the site - rather than address all things related to neighbourhood planning, I intend to do quite specific things with this site, namely:

  • Write blog posts about some of the more complex and technical issues which affect Neighbourhood Plans
  • Continue to maintain the Planfinder directory of Neighbourhood Plans
  • Develop other tools to support neighbourhood planning
  • Offer professional planning consultancy services to directly support the preparation of Neighbourhood Plans

I've not posted any blog content for a while since I have been busy building the site, but am working on a new online 'tool'which I hope to publish this week - so please check back soon.
